The 2009 Masque & Gavel Talent Show

We went to the "2009 Masque & Gavel Talent Show" at our son's high school after my oldest son's track meet. His band - Neon 10 was the closing act. We sat in the second row and he played his bass right in front of us.

Duo - Jordyn Stapleton & Jen Boylen sang "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae
Amish Dudeja did a drum solo accompanied by Michael Holloway on guitar
Keotta House sang "Tears Drops On My Guitar" by Taylor Swift
Heavy Water played "Fortunate Son" by Creedance Clearwater Revival
Cailee Madden sang "Bring Me Down" by Miranda Lambert
Crystal Terry did slam poetry "Prisoner Of Words" by Alicia Keys
Minh Tran did an original composition guitar solo "Chocolate & Tea"
Deadline did a dance mix
Michael Holloway did an original composition "Resolve"
Jenni McCarthy sang and did a piano solo by Sarah McLachan
Merril Idiyalil did a traditional dance to "Aja Nachle"

Neon 10 played an original composition "Polar Bears"

















Josh Durham & Mike Allison sang "1985" by Bowling For Soup
Mike Holloway & Kevin Worazek sang "DGS I Love You"

The show lasted about 1 1/2 hours. They did a great job. There's a lot of talent at the high school. I expect to see some of these names become famous in the future.
