National Honor Society Induction

My oldest son was inducted into the National Honor Society as a junior. Four main purposes have guided chapters of National Honor Society from the beginning: "To create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools." (from the NHS Constitution) It was a very nice ceremony in the high school auditorium. Three of his cross country teammates were also inducted along with a bunch of his other friends. They had refreshments in the cafeteria afterwards.
