Wrap-Up Party

My oldest son's basketball team had their wrap-up party at Home Run Inn. The team got together for pizza and to celebrate four great years. The coaches had a little speech about each player and prepared a re-cap with a picture of them from four years ago and this year. It's amazing how they've changed. They had a real successful season. Next year in high school a lot of them will probably not play basketball and they will all be going to different high schools. Each of the boys also was asked to highlight something they learned or remembered. My son said something about never giving up. I still remember how when he first started he wanted to quit and he stuck with it and learned to love basketball. It's amazing the skills he developed in four years. He was very fortunate to have such great coaches.
